Accounting Manager

Job Title: Staff Accountant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our growing finance team. This role is ideal for an accounting professional with 2+ years of experience preferred who is looking to build a long-term career in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. The Staff Accountant will support day-to-day accounting operations, assist with month-end close, prepare financial reports, and help ensure the accuracy of financial records. This position offers strong growth potential and the opportunity to expand into more senior accounting responsibilities over time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and post journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
• Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
• Maintain general ledger accuracy and support financial statement preparation
• Reconcile bank accounts, balance sheet accounts, and other key accounts
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities as needed
• Support audits by gathering documentation and preparing requested schedules
• Help monitor internal controls and ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures
• Analyze financial data and identify discrepancies or areas for improvement
• Partner with cross-functional teams to support reporting and operational needs
• Participate in process improvement initiatives and special projects

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2+ years of accounting experience preferred
• Understanding of general ledger accounting and month-end close
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting systems
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar
• Knowledge of GAAP
• Experience supporting audits and financial reporting processes
