A Catering Associate plays an integral role in the success of our wholesale, events, PR, holiday, and shipping efforts at Breads Bakery. As a member of our catering department, you will communicate and collaborate with all departments and Breads Bakery locations and lend a hand in the continued growth of the department.
Responsibilities & Expectations:
- Assist the Catering Manager and Supervisors in effectively and positively executing catering department functions; maintaining standards and activity in their absence and assisting in administrative and practical tasks as needed.
- Recognize the importance of providing extraordinary customer service and exemplify this in interactions with customers, vendors, and coworkers alike. Govern service recovery as needed with professionalism and sincerity.
- Communicate with all departments, bakery locations, and delivery personnel to ensure proper product inventory and quality are maintained for catering and wholesale orders- recognizing that every day presents varying needs and adjusting numbers accordingly.
- Utilize knowledge of the Breads Bakery catering menu to offer thoughtful suggestions to wholesale and catering customers.
- Perform daily administrative tasks including but not limited to fielding guest calls, email correspondence, creation of orders, and so on.
- Assist in packing cookies, cakes, wholesale, catering, Goldbelly, PR and holiday orders as needed- ensuring items are packaged, labeled, and dated appropriately (if applicable) and distributed in a timely fashion.
- Assist and adapting to any system transitions and/or updates in SOPs.
