Casa Nela is seeking a Pastry Lead to join our back of house team at Claudette. Claudette's menu pulls inspiration from local seasonality, The Mediterranean, and aromatics found in a Provencal kitchen. This role will aid our team producing both sweet and savory treats, baked goods, and breads for brunch, lunch, and dinner services. This candidate will work closely with our Executive Chef and Chef de Cuisine for menu developement opportunities and managing production.
-A working knowledge of breads, quick breads, laminated doughs, and basic knife skills
-Familiarization with scaling recipes, portioning, shaping, proofing and other techniques while ensuring consistency
-Maintain high level of cleanliness adhering to NYC Department of Health standards and company policy
