In the fall of 2004, we happened upon a perfect cozy space at the end of an unused alley off the Bowery, and Freemans Restaurant was born.
The idea of the restaurant was to make a rugged clandestine colonial American Tavern.
The cuisine was also imagined to early American: Simple, Rustic, and inspired by Old World traditions.
Freemans is looking for a Maitre D' to join our team for weekend shifts!
The ideal candidate will have experience as a Maitre D' in a busy restaurant and be able to properly organize and seat multiple sections and floors. They will be able to work with Hosts and the floor team to handle turn times, work with Resy, and guide guests and parties.
