Our seven brick-and-mortar flagship stores were designed in partnership with Snarkitecture, as we push the boundaries to deliver customers a completely unique experience. We offer an array of premium products, ranging from our own in-house label to a curated selection of multi-brand apparel and footwear. In 2015, Kith Treats was conceived from a childhood love for cereal and dreams of one day opening up a cereal bar - now operating in eight locations, Treats has become a staple within Kith. Our brand has also extended to three shop-in-shops at Bergdorf Goodman, Hirshleifers, and at Selfridges. Embarking on our journey overseas we knew it was only right to bring a taste of New York with us; together with Major Food Group, we introduced our first restaurant - Sadelle’s at Kith Paris.
Kith was founded by Ronnie Fieg, a prominent figure in the footwear industry, who has over twenty years of hands-on experience. Born and raised in Queens, Fieg has been involved in the footwear industry since becoming a stock boy at New York-based franchise David Z. at age 12. With steadfast perseverance, he methodically rose through the ranks from floor salesman to assistant manager to eventually becoming head buyer. Collaborating with brands that have stood the test of time, Kith aligns itself with brands and ideations from Fieg’s childhood that cohesively formalized the roots of his upbringing. Conceptualizing Kith as an extension of himself, Fieg seeks to shift the current landscape of fashion, while operating under a personal philosophy of giving the consumer more than what they pay for.
The Operations Manager organizes and monitors inventory levels to maximize efficiency. The Operations Manager leads a team of stock associates in supporting Front of House management delivery positive business results. Acting as the liaison between Warehouse Operations and their store, the Operations Manager will continuously communicate and update all appropriate business partners on all inventory, store logistics, and product related matters. They will also be responsible for managing all store deliveries, as well as training and developing their stock teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary Responsibilities:
- Monitor stock room and inventory controls to optimize overall procedures.
- Ensure inventory levels are adequate to meet the demands of the business.
- Appropriately communicate any inventory and/or product related issues with HQ business partners.
- Accurately record daily deliveries and shipments to reconcile inventory.
- Efficiently prepare for upcoming deliveries using any available resources.
- Maximize back-of-house space for storage of product and store supplies.
- Continuously collaborate with warehouse team and store management to ensure business goals are met.
- Manage a team of stock supervisors, and associates to ensure goals are met in the most effective and efficient way.
- Communicate daily goals and priorities with store team, and redirect activities as needed to achieve desired results.
Special Projects/Tasks:
- Help lead the execution of all cycle counts, physical inventory audits as required by the business.
- Provide support for any visual initiatives as needed, including but not limited to overnight, early morning shifts.
- Open to travel to support other stores, when needed.
Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to efficiently manage multiple projects/tasks at one time
- Efficient and effective communicator and delegator
- Comprehensive computer skills and familiarity with Google Suite (Email, Sheets, Docs, etc.)
- Ability to perform business math and accounting
- Standing/Walking for prolonged periods of time
- Lifting or moving up to 50 pounds
- Bending, twisting as well as climbing of ladders and other physical tasks related to standard retail operations
