**Job Description:**

**Exciting Opportunity at MSK:** We are currently seeking an expert **Pathologist Assistant** to join our team.

**Position Summary:** You will provide technical support for the Pathologists’ clinical and research activities.

**Role Overview:**
- Provide comprehensive assistance regarding the gross description and dissection of surgical tissue and thrive under the mentorship and supervision of outstanding Pathologists.
- Perform a wide variety of Histology processes in addition to tissue grossing, including tumor procurement, case set-up, gross imaging of patient specimens, mentoring/educating, and other duties as assigned.

**Key Qualifications:**
- Bachelor of Science from Pathologist Assistant Program (Master’s preferred).
- At least 3 years of experience in specimen grossing.
- Excellent communication skills - including verbal, written and computer.
- ASCP Certification strongly preferred.
- New graduates from an accredited PA master’s program are welcome to apply.

**Additional Information:**
- Schedule: 4 days/10hr shift (12pm-10pm) with rotational Saturday coverage.
- Training will occur Monday-Friday 7am-3pm for three months.
- 100% Onsite
- Location: 1275 York Ave in NYC
- Report to: Manager, Surgical Pathology

**$10,000 sign-on bonus | new employees eligible only**
