Job Description:
We are seeking a Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join the Reznik Laboratory for Computational Cancer Metabolism at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York.
We are a group of computational scientists investigating basic and translational problems at the interface of cancer genomics, tumor metabolism, and systemic physiology with multimodal datasets. You will lead new and highly collaborative projects bridging the gap between the physiology of the patient and the metabolism of the tumor using large-scale, heterogeneous genetic, metabolic, and clinical data. Come join a diverse group of quantitative geneticists, genomicists, and machine learners embedded in the Computational Oncology Service, a growing and diverse initiative dedicated to translational, data-driven cancer science and tightly integrated with the work of MSK’s clinicians.
Requirements:
- Competitive candidates should have obtained a PhD in a computational or quantitative discipline including but not limited to computational biology, bioengineering, computer science, physics, or bioinformatics.
- A research background in cancer genomics is preferred but not necessary.
Interested candidates should send a cover letter, curriculum vitae, and the names and contact information for 3 references to Tiffany Trafalgar at trafalgt@mskcc.org and Ed Reznik at reznike@mskcc.org. The Reznik lab is located at 321 East 61st Street, New York, NY 10065.
