Basic Qualifications
- Experience in the service industry (i.e. restaurant, bar, or hospitality)
- Experience working as a bartender
- Reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language
- 21+ years of age
- Valid WSLCB Class 12 Mandatory Alcohol Server Training Permit (MAST Permit)
- Available to work flexible hours, which could include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Preferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge of standard drink recipes
- Working knowledge of spirits, wine and beer
- Understanding of classes of alcohol, different glasses, brand names and garnishments
- Working knowledge of bar equipment
- Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
- High attention to detail, strong work ethic, ability to multitask and prioritize is essential
- Strong ability to create a sophisticated, once in a lifetime immersive experience through storytelling, entertaining, and engaging customers while operating equipment
- Additional languages beneficial.
- Knowledge and education in mixology an advantage
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to learn quickly
- Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and request clarification when needed
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and build positive working relationships with team members
