Since 2005, VEJA has been making sneakers differently, approaching each stage of production with the intent of having a positive impact. Our mission is to make environmentally friendly sneakers, using raw materials sourced from organic farming and ecological agriculture, avoiding chemicals or polluting processes when possible, and upholding dignified working conditions, in direct consultation with material producers and manufacturers.

We are currently in search of part-time and full-time sales associates to join our NYC Flagship team. This individual will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, while upholding exceptional customer service standards. This candidate will need to be well-versed in product knowledge and be a natural in talking about our project and mission. Additional duties include supporting the processing of weekly shipments, POS ringing procedures and maintaining store presentation and merchandising standards, among other responsibilities.

Ability to stand for 7-8 hours a day. Comfortable in a hands-on, personalized customer service environment. Strong team player, approaching all situations with integrity and respect for others. Excellent communication skills, professional maturity, and emotional intelligence. Proactive in resolving problems. Able to use all available tools and information to keep up to date on current product and be proficient in product details. Self-starter, able to work autonomously and demonstrate leadership. Able to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including evening, weekend and holiday availability. Foreign language fluency a plus.
