Listing standards
What “current job” means on Workwise
Workwise applies consistent technical checks to supplied job records, keeps active inventory separate from expired inventory, and makes the original listing easy to verify.
Minimum publication checks
A record must have a title, employer, non-empty description, stable feed reference, and at least one valid HTTPS application destination on the permitted outbound host before it becomes a Workwise job. Unsupported description markup and links are removed before display.
A useful, current job page can be included in the job sitemap even when it is not eligible for Google's job-search structured data. Rich-result eligibility additionally requires a valid supplied posting date, a country for every included location, a title that passes our quality policy, and non-remote location semantics the current feed can support. Missing information is not manufactured to make a record eligible.
One page for a supplied job family
Related feed variants with the same family reference share one canonical job page. Multi-location families retain location-specific application links. This reduces repeated pages without using fuzzy title matching that could accidentally combine different openings.
Search cards, full job pages, company pages, and location pages all draw from the same accepted active inventory. The complete supplied description remains visible on Workwise, while application actions open the original listing in a new tab.
Updates, expiry, and removal
New, changed, reactivated, unchanged, and expired records are tracked during each accepted production update. If an active job is absent from the next accepted snapshot, Workwise marks it expired, removes its stored application destination, and stops serving it as an active job page.
Expired jobs are removed from active search, collection pages, and job sitemaps instead of being redirected to an unrelated search page. Search-engine update and deletion events can be queued from the same lifecycle, but external crawling and index removal still happen on each search engine's schedule.
Technical quality is not employer verification
Passing these checks means a record is usable and internally consistent enough to publish. It does not mean Workwise has verified the employer, every statement in the advertisement, the availability of the role, or the conduct of a recruiter or destination site.
The feed can be delayed, incomplete, inaccurate, or duplicated. Read the job data methodology, then confirm important details on the original listing before relying on them or sharing personal information.
