Our client, a global leader in the IT industry is seeking to hire an Accounts Receivable Dispute Resolution Specialist. This is a HYBRID role where you will report to the Vernon Hills, IL office 3 days a week and have the flexibility to work from a home office two days a week. This position pays $25-$27/hour depending on relevant experience and will work from 8am-5pm Monday – Friday. This role starts as a 6-month contract but will offer both extensions and full-time opportunities for a top performer. We are seeking a candidate who has 2+ years of experience managing the dispute resolution process and resolving discrepancies including billing errors, discrepancies between invoices & purchase orders, and incorrect delivery of goods or services in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research disputes to determine facts and identify root cause and a pathway to a resolution.
- Ensure accurate and timely responses to disputes within defined turnaround time requirements.
- Create reports and provide status updates on outstanding disputes to management.
- Validate appropriate data from internal and third-party systems and ensure appropriate course of action is being pursued.
- Engage in clear and professional communication with customers and stakeholders.
- Maintain comprehensive records of all dispute related activities, communications, and resolutions.
- Generate regular reports on dispute trends, aging, and resolution status for management.
- Adhere to internal controls and maintain a high level of accuracy and integrity.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of experience managing the dispute resolution process and resolving discrepancies including billing errors, discrepancies between invoices & purchase orders, and incorrect delivery of goods or services in a timely manner.
- Previous experience generating reports on dispute trends, aging, and timelines for dispute resolutions for upper management.
- Adept at using multiple computer programs and learning new systems.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to update internal and external stakeholders during the dispute resolution process.
