Accounting Manager - External Reporting

Manager, External Reporting opportunity with a well-established, publicly traded global company headquartered in Oak Brook, IL. The role sits within Corporate Controllership and offers cross-functional exposure.

Snapshot of responsibilities:

• Key role in the preparation and review of 10-K, 10-Q and 8-K SEC filings
• Broad technical accounting exposure, including share-based compensation, EPS, debt, hedging, leases and other complex accounting matters
• Partner closely with Corporate Accounting, FP&A, Investor Relations, Tax, Treasury, Legal and senior finance leadership
• Involvement in earnings materials, accounting policy and implementation of new GAAP and SEC requirements
• Manage and a team while maintaining hands-on involvement in key reporting initiatives
• Opportunity to drive process improvements and take on business-critical projects

What we’re looking for:

• 5+ years of progressive accounting/financial reporting experience
• CPA required
• Public accounting experience strongly preferred
• SEC reporting experience, including 10-K and 10-Q filings
• Strong technical accounting and GAAP knowledge
• Leadership and team development experience
• Workiva and/or OneStream experience is a plus
