Location : Ridgefield Park, NJ

Job specification :

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Support month-end/ year-end closing processes
• Handle journal entries and general accounting operations
• Analyzes financial information, and prepares balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports
• Assist Consolidation reporting of US GAAP and IFRS (consolidation package)
• Analyzes accounting issue and problem and report to Accounting head/Controller
• Support local tax compliance reporting(On the job training provided; no prior tax experience required)
• Perform all other functions requested that are within the scope of this job as deemed necessary or appropriate by manager

Candidate Specification :

Qualified candidates must have:

• No specific educational background required
• Smart, quick-thinking, and able to make sound judgement calls in fast moving situations
• Strong learning agility; this role involves a steep learning curve, so the ability to pick up new tasks quickly is essential
• Prior experience(around 3 years) at an accounting firm is a plus
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Excel preferred
• Prior experience with SAP is a plus
