AI Lead Engineer

About the Role

AI Lead Engineer responsibilities will include hands-on development of AI agents and Knowledge Graph capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead hands-on development of AI agents and Knowledge Graph capabilities.
• Build supervisor, planner, mapping, discovery, recipe-generation, quality, and remediation agents.
• Develop agent tools for Stardog, Databricks, Orkes, Unity Catalog, and platform APIs.
• Implement graph schemas, relationships, ingestion pipelines, queries, and hybrid retrieval.
• Build prompt, context-management, grounding, confidence-scoring, and evaluation components.
• Implement PHI redaction, tenant isolation, tool restrictions, and approval workflows.
• Develop automated testing for agents, prompts, graph retrieval, recipes, and generated code.
• Integrate agent telemetry with AI and operational observability platforms.
• Mentor engineers and enforce coding, testing, security, and deployment standards.

Skills Required

• Strong Python, SQL, API, and software-engineering skills.
• Hands-on development of GenAI, RAG, tool-using agents, and multi-agent workflows.
• Knowledge Graph development, semantic modeling, SPARQL, and graph retrieval.
• Prompt engineering, context engineering, structured outputs, and LLM evaluation.
• Databricks, PySpark, data profiling, transformation, and data-quality implementation.
• Secure application development involving PHI and sensitive healthcare data.
• Automated testing, Git-based delivery, CI/CD, and production troubleshooting.
• Ability to lead technical delivery and coordinate across AI, data, platform, and domain teams.
