About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on Automotive Electrical Test Technician to support the testing and validation of automotive electronic control units (ECUs). This role will focus on infotainment and telematics systems, helping ensure electronic components and features meet functional, quality, and performance requirements.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a laboratory environment, performing hands-on electrical testing, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with hardware, software, and quality teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform bench-level testing and validation of automotive ECUs and electronic systems.
• Set up and maintain test benches, laboratory equipment, and validation environments.
• Test and evaluate infotainment, connectivity, telematics, and user-interface features.
• Develop, execute, and document test cases; analyze results and report defects or issues.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software problems using diagnostic and laboratory tools.
• Use equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and log analysis tools to investigate issues.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams to support troubleshooting.
• Perform electrical measurements, signal analysis, and basic board-level diagnostics.
• Support ECU flashing, configuration, integration, and regression testing activities.
• Participate in root cause analysis and assist with implementing corrective actions.
• Collaborate with hardware, software, and QA teams to resolve technical issues.
• Maintain accurate test records, logs, and technical documentation while following quality processes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with automotive electronics, ECU testing, or electrical validation.
• Hands-on experience with Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) testing or automotive test benches.
• Familiarity with CAN, CANoe, CANalyzer, or CAPL is a plus.
• Knowledge of PCBA testing, ECU hardware validation, and board-level troubleshooting.
• Exposure to infotainment systems, telematics, connectivity, audio/video, or UI testing is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of Python or other scripting/automation tools is a plus.
• Understanding of automotive quality standards and testing processes is desirable.
