Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Bilingual HR Manager for an established organization supporting its California operations. This is a full-time, direct-hire, onsite opportunity in San Ramon, CA.


POSITION OVERVIEW:

The HR Manager will serve as the primary HR resource for the organization’s California operations, supporting approximately 75 employees. This is a hands-on role overseeing a broad range of HR functions, including employee relations, recruiting, payroll, benefits, workers’ compensation, compliance, leave administration, and training. The ideal candidate will be comfortable supporting a blue-collar, hourly workforce and working independently in a dynamic environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as the primary HR point of contact for employees and leadership while independently managing day-to-day HR operations.
  • Provide guidance on HR policies, employee relations, investigations, performance concerns, corrective actions, and workplace conflicts.
  • Oversee workers’ compensation matters while supporting workplace safety, compliance, and employee training.
  • Manage recruiting, onboarding, and workforce planning for hourly and field-based positions.
  • Support payroll, timekeeping, benefits administration, FMLA and leave administration, and employee records.
  • Support training and development initiatives while identifying opportunities to improve employee engagement, retention, and the overall workforce experience.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • HR management experience supporting organizations with approximately 75–150+ employees.
  • Strong understanding of HR practices, California employment laws, compliance, and employee relations.
  • Experience supporting a blue-collar, hourly, or field-based workforce, including experience with workers’ compensation, payroll, benefits, and leave administration.
  • Bilingual English and Spanish communication skills required, with strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Preferred experience with ADP Workforce Now and/or HR support within field, industrial, construction, manufacturing, or similar blue-collar environments.


COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

This position offers a salary of up to $125,000 along with a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, PTO, and a 401(k) plan with employer matching. This is an onsite Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM opportunity in San Ramon, CA.
