Job Duties:

The Business Operations and Project Management Specialist will play an important role in supporting the company across all areas of the business, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently. The individual will coordinate cross-functional projects and initiatives within KONAMI’s digital business functions (sales, marketing, licensing, production, business development, social media, etc.) by communicating/coordinating with all relevant stakeholders. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, executive-facing environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a key liaison to facilitate communication and coordination across various departments within the U.S. office and with overseas offices.
  • Review social media content to ensure alignment with company standards, brand guidelines, and business objectives.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance workflow efficiency, communication, and project visibility.
  • Provide day-to-day administrative, operational, and project management support.
  • Track project schedules, deliverables, and milestones, proactively identifying risks and escalating issues as needed.
  • Maintain project documentation, status reports, and centralized trackers to support effective project execution.


Qualifications:

  • 3 years of relevant professional experience, or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments and with individuals
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including writing, editing, and proofreading.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, make sound decisions under pressure, and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, team-oriented mindset.
  • Business-level Japanese is preferred but not required
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, or a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)


Preferred:

  • Experience working for or with a Japanese company
  • Interest in various forms of entertainment such as; video games, movie, comic, animation, and music.
