Domestic Category Manager


I'm partnering with a growing organization in the packaging and distribution space that is looking to add a Domestic Category Manager to their procurement leadership team.


This role is ideal for a sourcing professional with deep experience in packaging procurement who enjoys building supplier partnerships, driving strategic sourcing initiatives, and leading high-performing teams. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing supplier relationships, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and supporting procurement operations across multiple locations.


What You'll Be Responsible For:

  • Developing and executing sourcing strategies across domestic packaging categories
  • Managing supplier relationships and negotiating favorable outcomes
  • Leading and mentoring a team of sourcing professionals
  • Driving cost savings, process improvements, and procurement efficiency initiatives
  • Analyzing market trends and industry data to support purchasing decisions
  • Managing a large product portfolio while ensuring supplier performance and item accuracy


What We're Looking For:

  • 8-10 years of sourcing or procurement experience
  • Previous leadership experience managing direct reports
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Corrugated experience required
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or a related field preferred


Work Schedule: Onsite

Compensation: $100-120k base

Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, paid sick leave where applicable by state law
