- Gather, organize, and maintain the financial information necessary to develop comprehensive financial plans
- Prepare and update client financial plans in coordination with the firm's Financial Advisors
- Participate in the preparation and presentation of new financial plans to clients
- Follow up with clients on recommendations and action items resulting from advisor meetings
- Coordinate the implementation of financial planning recommendations across investments, retirement planning, insurance, annuities, and other areas
- Maintain accurate client information and update financial plans as client circumstances, goals, and financial information change
- Assist with life insurance and annuity applications, service requests, documentation, and ongoing client needs
- Coordinate with advisors and other team members to ensure client requests and planning-related tasks are completed accurately and on schedule
- Provide ongoing client service and serve as an additional point of contact for client questions and follow-up needs
- Help maintain an organized and consistent client planning experience across the practice
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in wealth management, financial planning, client service, or a similar financial services role preferred
- Experience working within an independent RIA, hybrid RIA, broker-dealer, or financial advisory practice strongly preferred
- Experience with life insurance and/or annuities is highly desirable
- Series 7 and Series 66 licenses are a plus but not required
- Experience with eMoney Advisor financial planning software is a plus
- Strong understanding of the financial planning process and the ability to work comfortably with detailed client financial information
- Excellent organizational and follow-through skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable interacting directly with clients and explaining financial planning processes and next steps
- Ability to manage multiple client relationships, deadlines, and action items simultaneously
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to providing a high level of client service
The Opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced wealth management professional who wants to move beyond a traditional administrative Client Service Associate position and become more involved in the financial planning and client relationship process.
The successful candidate will work closely with Financial Advisors, help clients navigate the planning process, and play an important role in making sure recommendations don't simply end with the advisor meeting—they are followed through, implemented, and incorporated into an evolving financial plan.
This is a full-time, in-office position in Red Bank, NJ, Monday through Friday.
