Job description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Compensation & Benefits Specialist to support the administration, analysis, and continuous improvement of compensation and employee benefits programs across our retail organization. This role will work closely with HR, payroll, finance, and business leaders to ensure employees are compensated accurately, benefits programs are administered effectively, and HR practices remain competitive, compliant, and aligned with business objectives.
The ideal candidate has experience supporting compensation and benefits programs in a retail, grocery, hospitality, distribution, or other high-volume, multi-location environment, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage sensitive employee information.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- 3–5+ years of experience in compensation, benefits, HR operations, or a related HR function.
- Experience in a retail, grocery, hospitality, distribution, or multi-location environment strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of compensation and benefits administration.
- Experience working with HRIS and/or payroll systems.
- Strong Excel skills, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, and data analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
