This position is in office Monday through Friday in Orange, CA.

The Senior Compensation and Benefits Specialist directs the organization Compensation Strategy, Pay Structure, Benefits Programs and Payroll Processes to ensure competitive and compliant cost effective total rewards.
The role will lead and ensure timely, accurate and compliant:
- payroll processing for the US TBU companies;
- reporting to finance, HR, and outside agencies;
- set up and resolution of payroll issues.
The position will also administer the benefits annual open enrollment, enroll employees and terminate benefits, resolve benefits issues, set up new benefits.
This position is a key support role to the HR operations leader (HR Director) and on-site HR Managers. This position is the HR internal go-to for questions or issues concerning all things related to payroll.
Additionally, this position provides key information/reports to a number of internal, (finance, MBOS, HR leadership) and external parties, (e.g., the company’s tax consultant, EEOC, etc.)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Payroll Processing (just reporting in the Payroll)
- Manage payroll preparation, records maintenance, and reporting for federal, state, and local agencies regarding legal requirements and new legislation.
- Direct the collection, calculation, and entering of pay data.
- Review payroll status changes and manual check issuance.
- Function as the ADP WFN: Security Manager responsible for the Company Set Up, and Security Access in a Multi-user Environment for practitioner roles and responsibility permissions.
Payroll Compliance
- Protect payroll operations by practicing appropriate disclosure and confidentiality of employee personal information.
- Spearhead year end reporting to include distribution of W-2’s, reconciliation of quarterly and year end reports, group healthcare costs, W-2 preparation, and ACA reporting
Payroll Improvement
- Deliver value-added products and services to the business using the current platform, ADP Workforce Now.
- Identify and implement efficiencies for processing.
- Identify and meet the reporting needs of HR Director & HR Managers.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent preferred in accounting, finance or business
- Certified Payroll Professional certification preferred
- Experience of 7 to 10 years managing payroll and benefits
- Familiarity with processing payroll in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with ADP Workforce NOW required
