Construction Estimator

A well-established, Long Island construction firm known for delivering large-scale commercial projects, is looking for an Estimator to join their growing team.

You'll take ownership of estimates from concept through award — analyzing plans and specs, soliciting and evaluating subcontractor and vendor pricing, and building accurate, competitive bids for complex, multi-million-dollar projects. You'll work closely with project executives, preconstruction, and operations to help win the right work at the right price.

In order to be successful in this role, they are looking for the following experience:

- 5+ years of estimating experience on large-scale commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects

- Strong command of quantity takeoffs, cost databases, and estimating software (e.g., On-Screen Takeoff, Sage, Bluebeam)

- Sharp analytical skills and an eye for risk, value engineering, and constructability

- Excellent communication skills — you can defend a number in a room full of GCs, owners, and subs

- A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent field experience (preferable)
