Location: Petaluma, CA
Compensation: $130,000–$160,000 + Bonus Potential + 401(k) + Health, Dental & Vision
An established general contracting company in the Petaluma market is adding a Project Manager to its team.
This firm has built a solid reputation for ground-up construction, with a strong preference for candidates who bring commercial project experience; multi-family experience is a plus but not required. The right candidate will take ownership of projects from mobilization through closeout, providing hands-on leadership and dependable follow-through from start to finish.

Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee ground-up construction projects from mobilization through closeout
- Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and design teams to keep work moving efficiently
- Track project costs against budget, flagging variances early and driving corrective action
- Manage the full documentation trail — RFIs, submittals, change orders, and correspondence
- Represent the company on-site, championing safety, quality, and professionalism throughout the project
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in commercial construction, with experience on ground-up projects
- Commercial project experience strongly preferred; multi-family experience is a plus but not required
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is a plus but not required
