Controller

CBIZ Talent Solutions is assisting their valued manufacturing client in Suffolk County, NY in their search for a hands-on Controller to oversee accounting and financial operations for a key business unit. This role manages a small accounting team and is responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and internal controls.

100% Onsite

Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly and year-end financial statements.
• Develop budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.
• Oversee accounting operations, including A/P, A/R, payroll, billing, and inventory.
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes.
• Coordinate audits, tax preparation, and regulatory reporting.
• Analyze financial data and provide reporting to leadership.
• Lead and develop a team of accounting professionals.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal controls.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5+ years of accounting and financial management experience.
• CPA preferred.
• Strong financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting skills.
• NetSuite is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite.

Compensation: $150K-$175K
