JOB SUMMARY

Job Description:

We’re seeking an ESS (Energy Storage System) Strategy/Marketing Analyst to lead market research, support business development, and provide sales-linked customer marketing support for ESS solutions. This role works closely with the Sales team to support customers pre- and post-sale, delivers product recommendations and solutions, and collaborates cross-functionally—including with HQ in Korea—to ensure customer satisfaction and timely issue resolution. The role also supports business management activities including sales management support and P&L analysis/reporting related to ESS.

Some travel required (10-20%) Perform other duties as related to the job function as required.


ESSENTIAL ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


1) Market Sensing

· Define and develop global market analysis and identify market strategies for Energy Storage Systems

(ESS)

· Conduct market/competitive research, customer VOC analysis, and summarize implications for GTM

and portfolio strategy

· Report global strategy and future business planning insights related to the energy storage landscape,

and support strategic planning for major customer

2) Business Development

· Research and identify new business areas with new customers, new applications, and emerging

segments.

· Support opportunity discovery, qualification, and early-stage GTM planning in collaboration with

Sales/BD

· Marketing Communication: Develop and deliver customer-facing materials and communication plans

(decks, one-pagers, briefs, email/webinar/event content as needed) to enable engagement and

pipeline growth

3) Business Management

· Sales Management / HQ Support: Work closely with the Sales team to provide marketing support to

customers (pre- and post-sale), including customer meetings, briefings, and follow-ups. Coordinate

with HQ in Korea to ensure customer satisfaction and timely resolution of issues

· Pre/Post-Sale Solutions Support: Build relationships with customers, provide product

recommendations, analyze customer needs/issues, and propose solutions in coordination with

internal stakeholders

· P&L / Reporting: Conduct Profit & Loss analysis and reporting for ESS-related business, consolidating

inputs and providing periodic updates to leadership/HQ.Key Responsibilities


REQUIREMENTS


· Experience in B2B marketing, business development, or commercial roles in ESS, power/energy,

industrial tech, EV ecosystem, or adjacent fields

· Strong capability in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) with professional skill in:

- Creating sales briefing documentation (customer decks, executive summaries, competitive

comparisons, proposal support)

- Presenting to customers and internal leadership

· Strong analytical and communication skills; able to translate market research into actionable strategy

· Ability to collaborate across functions and time zones (including HQ stakeholders) and manage

customer issue resolution workflows.

· Required experience: 4+ years of experience

English; required education: Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred).

HEALTH & SAFETY REQUIREMENTS


  • Follow safe work procedures established by the Company; and follow the OH&S directions of the head of your department or supervisor
  • Use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety systems

  • Assist with the preparation of risk assessments
  • Before commencing work or research, a risk assessment should be conducted to identify, assess and control the hazards associated with the work or research. This should be conducted in conjunction with other relevant staff, researchers and the supervisor
  • Report OH&S problems
  • Report workplace hazards to the supervisor as soon as possible after they occur
  • Report injury or illness arising from workplace activities using the incident/injury reporting system as soon as possible after the incident
  • Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions
  • Complete monthly H&S inspections
