Costing Coordinator

Position Summary
The Costing Coordinator is responsible for independently coordinating day-to-day costing activities for assigned divisions. Building on the Assistant-level responsibilities, this role takes greater ownership of costing accuracy, discrepancy resolution, system maintenance, vendor/factory documentation and cross-functional follow-up.
Responsibilities
- Independently manage day-to-day costing coordination and data maintenance across assigned divisions.
- Review final FOB confirmations for accuracy, identify discrepancies and follow through with the appropriate teams to resolution.
- Maintain accurate and timely costing information in RLM, SAP and PLM.
- Update PLM with allocations and ensure bulk and PPS placements are entered once costing and production dates are finalized.
- Confirm final FOBs by division and own the ongoing monitoring and maintenance of discrepancy logs.
- Maintain active factory lists and coordinate vendor master forms, ensuring required information is complete and accurate.
- Review factory evaluation documentation for completeness prior to submission to the Compliance Department.
- Partner with Production, Merchandising, Sourcing and other cross-functional teams to resolve costing and system-related issues.
- Track outstanding costing information and proactively follow up to ensure deadlines are met.
- Prepare and maintain costing reports, files and supporting documentation.
- Provide guidance and support to Costing Assistants on routine processes and system/data questions as needed.
Requirements
- 3+ years of related costing, production, sourcing, merchandising or apparel industry experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of apparel costing processes, FOBs, vendor/factory documentation and production timelines.
- Strong analytical skills and a high level of accuracy with numbers and data.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Working knowledge of RLM, SAP and/or PLM strongly preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication and follow-up skills with the ability to independently manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to identify discrepancies, troubleshoot routine issues and escalate when appropriate.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent relevant experience.
Compensation: $36.06 per hour (approximately $75,000 annualized).
Actual hourly rate for this role will be based on experience, qualifications and/or assigned unit.
