Full job description

Robert Half's marketing & creative client is looking for a CX Researcher for a 3-6+ month contract opportunity. This is a fully remote, 40-hour-per-week position. The CX Researcher will lead the design, execution, and analysis of a large-scale quantitative customer research study focused on customer behavior, engagement patterns, and loyalty program preferences. This role is ideal for a research professional with strong survey design, data analysis, and stakeholder communication skills who can independently manage the full research lifecycle and deliver actionable business insights.


Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop quantitative surveys to gather customer insights and support strategic decision-making
  • Translate business and research objectives into effective questionnaires for multiple customer segments
  • Build, program, test, and launch surveys using Qualtrics
  • Provide recommendations on survey incentives and assist with implementation logistics
  • Manage survey fieldwork, monitor response quality, and ensure completion targets are achieved
  • Analyze survey results and identify actionable trends, patterns, and customer insights
  • Develop reports and presentations that translate data into clear business recommendations
  • Conduct segment-level analysis to compare customer behaviors, preferences, and engagement opportunities
  • Collaborate with marketing and cross-functional stakeholders to align research initiatives with business goals
  • Support customer experience, loyalty, and engagement strategy through ongoing research and insights
  • Maintain research documentation, methodologies, and reporting materials
  • Present findings and recommendations to internal stakeholders


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Market Research, Marketing, Statistics, Business, Psychology, Economics, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in customer research, market research, consumer insights, CX research, or a related role.
  • Proven experience designing and managing quantitative surveys with large respondent populations
  • Strong hands-on experience with Qualtrics; experience with similar survey platforms will also be considered
  • Experience programming surveys, managing fieldwork, and ensuring data quality throughout the research process
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets
  • Experience creating client-facing reports, presentations, and executive summaries
  • Knowledge of survey methodologies, customer segmentation, and quantitative research best practices
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel and experience using data visualization or reporting tools is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present findings to stakeholders
  • Strong organization, project management, and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
