Job opening
Delivery & Installation Coordinator — Onsite
Filed under Manufacturing
Full job description
People Architects is leading the search on behalf of a family-owned monument manufacturer and installer for a Delivery & Installation Coordinator.
Serving cemeteries, funeral homes, and monument dealers throughout the greater New York area, the company is known for managing highly detailed, time-sensitive orders from production through installation.
The Delivery & Installation Coordinator will play a central role in keeping daily operations running smoothly. While the position includes general office administration, its primary focus is coordinating monument deliveries and installations—ensuring the right monument reaches the right location at the right time, with every detail handled along the way.
This is a hands-on, detail-oriented opportunity for someone who enjoys being the person behind the scenes who keeps everything moving. You’ll work closely with customers, cemeteries, installers, drivers, and the internal team to manage schedules, solve problems, and ensure every commitment is met.
Key Responsibilities:
• Answer phones, respond to emails, and serve as the primary point of contact for wholesale customers (cemeteries, funeral homes, monument dealers)
• Own and maintain the master delivery/installation tracking spreadsheet, monitoring it multiple times a day to ensure every deadline — including sensitive one-year memorial "unveiling" dates — is met without exception
• Coordinate delivery and installation schedules and routing across multiple cemetery locations • Handle general administrative work: filing, data entry, light billing and invoicing support
• Learn cemetery-specific rules, paperwork requirements, and routing logic from the outgoing employee during a training/transition period
• Work comfortably across both our digital systems and our paper-based recordkeeping
Qualifications:
• Strong organizational skills and a track record of managing multiple hard deadlines without letting one slip
• Comfort with Microsoft Office and basic spreadsheets, plus a willingness to work with paper-based processes
• A flexible, adaptable approach and a sense of humor — we're a small, informal, family-owned business without job titles or corporate hierarchy
• Prior experience with delivery scheduling, routing, or dispatch coordination is a strong plus
• Cemetery, funeral, or related industry exposure is a plus but not required.
Compensation & Benefits
• Base salary: $65,000-$75,000 depending on experience.
• Medical insurance — 100% employer-paid, no employee payroll deduction
• 401(k) with 6% employer match
Location
Fully on-site in the Bronx, NY, roughly 7:00am-4:00pm. Easily accessible from any NYC borough, lower Westchester, and transit-friendly New Jersey river towns; located within a 5-minute drive of I-95 and the Hutchinson River Parkway.
We are committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. People Architects and our clients are equal opportunity employers and do not discriminate on the basis of race, national origin, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, protected veteran status, disability, age, or other legally protected status. Applicants for employment with any of People Architect’s clients will never be asked to provide money (even if reimbursable) as part of the job application or hiring process.
