Job Description:

The Oncology account executive is responsible for selling and promoting oncology diagnostic testing solutions calling on oncologists in hospital and physician office settings. The territory covers Brooklyn, Queens and Staten Island. In this position, the individual manages a defined territory, building and maintaining relationships with oncology clinics, hospital systems, and diagnostic laboratories to promote oncology diagnostic products and services. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting sales calls and meetings, delivering product presentations and demos, providing clinical and technical information, and coordinating training and support for healthcare customers. The role involves developing territory plans, identifying new business opportunities, negotiating contracts within established guidelines, and monitoring account performance to achieve revenue and growth targets. Collaboration with internal teams such as marketing, customer support, and clinical specialists is essential to ensure high-quality service and to respond to customer needs promptly and professionally.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in medical diagnostics, oncology, or related healthcare sales, with a track record of achieving or exceeding territory sales goals.
  • Strong account management and relationship-building skills, including the ability to engage physicians, lab directors, and administrative stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze territory performance data, develop strategic account plans, and implement targeted sales initiatives.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the capacity to explain complex diagnostic concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently while collaborating closely with cross-functional internal teams.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, standard office software, and digital tools used for virtual customer engagement.
  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, healthcare, business, or a related field; advanced clinical or scientific background is a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel regularly within the assigned territory.


Compensation and Benefits: Base salary range of 150-165k and on target earnings of 235-250k (uncapped), full benefits (health, dental, vision) car allowance, 401k and employee stock purchase plan.
