Director of Nursing

Practice Nursing (PN) Program Director supporting our campuses in East Hartford and Bridgeport, Connecticut.

This role is ideal for a nursing educator and leader who is passionate about academic excellence, student success, workforce development, and building strong healthcare partnerships. The Program Director provides overall leadership, administration, planning, evaluation, and continuous improvement for the PN Program while also serving as full-time faculty.

Key responsibilities include overseeing curriculum development and assessment, ensuring accreditation and regulatory compliance, supporting faculty mentorship and student outcomes, managing didactic/lab/clinical components, and collaborating with healthcare organizations and community partners to align programming with workforce needs. The Director also works closely with faculty, staff, and leadership to foster a positive and supportive learning environment.

We’re seeking candidates with:

• Master’s degree in Nursing

• Active Connecticut RN license

• Academic leadership and teaching experience

• Experience in curriculum development, accreditation, and program administration

Preferred qualifications include:

• 3+ years in a nursing leadership/supervisory role

• 3+ years teaching in a college or university setting

• Experience in a career college or higher education environment
