Join an established, privately held financial services company undertaking a major AI-first transformation of its customer journey and core operating processes.

The Mission

The company is reimagining historically manual and model-driven financial processes through a combination of AI agents, data science, analytical optimization, and automation.

This is not an exploratory AI strategy position. The organization has executive sponsorship, an established roadmap, active production deployments, dedicated data science capabilities, and specialist AI engineering partners.

The next stage is to build the internal AI product leadership required to accelerate execution, develop proprietary capabilities, and ensure that every technical investment supports a meaningful customer or business outcome.

The Role

You will work directly with the executive leading the AI program to co-author the product vision and design for a broad transformation of customer-facing financial workflows.

You will also lead AI Product Managers and cross-functional delivery pods consisting of data scientists, AI engineers, systems specialists, operational leaders, and subject-matter experts.

What You’ll Do

• Co-author the company’s AI product vision, product design, and transformation roadmap alongside executive leadership.
• Reimagine customer-facing financial processes through an AI-first product approach.
• Lead the development of AI-enabled products across application processing, decisioning, sales, servicing, and related workflows.
• Translate complex business problems into clear product strategies, technical requirements, and execution plans.
• Lead and develop a small team of AI Product Managers responsible for individual transformation initiatives.
• Direct cross-functional pods consisting of product, data science, engineering, operations, and functional experts.
• Take products from initial process discovery and design through implementation, production deployment, measurement, and iteration.
• Define how AI agents, traditional machine learning, analytical optimization, business rules, and human oversight should work together.

What You’ll Bring

• Meaningful recent experience designing, building, and shipping production AI products.
• Demonstrated ownership of AI products from initial concept through production delivery and iteration.
• Experience redesigning customer-facing processes rather than only building internal productivity tools.
• Strong AI product judgment and the ability to identify where AI can materially change a workflow rather than simply adding AI features to an existing process.
• A hands-on operating style and evidence of delivering products at a faster pace than is typical within large enterprises.
• Strong executive presence and the ability to lead a room of senior, technical, analytical, and operational stakeholders.
• Enough technical depth to challenge AI engineering architecture, data science plans, vendor recommendations, and implementation decisions.
• Familiarity with AI agents, LLM-enabled workflows, machine learning, predictive modeling, automation, APIs, data systems, or related technologies.
