Manager, Production Finance

Location: Los Angeles, CA

Schedule: Monday–Thursday, onsite

Pay Rate: $85/hour

Assignment: Temporary to potential perm

About the Role

A highly confidential entertainment company is seeking a seasoned Manager, Production Finance.

• Oversee production finance activities across multiple concurrent titles
• Partner with production teams and internal stakeholders on financial planning, reporting, and accounting processes
• Participate in internal and external production meetings
• Monitor budgets, spend, reporting, and financial workflows
• Ensure adherence to established production finance practices and processes
• Serve as a liaison between production teams and corporate finance
• Identify opportunities to improve workflows, processes, and efficiencies
• Navigate a fast-paced, evolving production environment and adapt to changing priorities

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of production finance experience, ideally supporting complex, large-budget titles.
• Experience overseeing complex, large-scale productions
• Strong understanding of production finance practices and industry workflows
• Advanced Excel and financial reporting skills
• Experience working cross-functionally with production and corporate finance teams
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to operate independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment
• Live entertainment or sports production experience is a plus
• Studio experience is a plus
• Comfortable working with evolving technology, automation, and new workflows
