MAJOR BANK IN MIDTOWN MANHATTAN SEEKS EXPERIENCED CASH/PRODUCT/FIXED INCOME CONTROLLER for hybrid contract role.

Job Description:

A Cash controller that is responsible for analyzing legacy cash breaks between ledgers and bank statements for various entities with focus on swap dealer entity. Knowledge of various Fixed Income products from bonds to derivatives.

Operational and Finance background would be ideal.

• Daily review of GL cash balances vs Bank Statement

• Generate Summary of breaks across currencies

• Investigate break with operations/IT/Finance

• Attend daily calls to find root cause of breaks

• Month end review of cash balances vs statements

• Balance sheet substantiation

Experience with Murex or Impact a plus

Qualifications:

• Product Control/Operation experience with Fixed Income Products

Cash reconciliation

Deal with breaks

Collateral derivatives

• Knowledge of cash processes.

• 3-5+ years of product control experience

• Strong analytic and problem-solving skills

• Highly proficient in Excel (v-lookups, pivot tables)

• Accounting or Finance degree required

• Strong data management skills

• AI skills a plus.
