This is a role for an attorney who can do more than manage discovery and write motions. They want somebody who is comfortable owning cases, standing up in court and taking first-chair responsibility when required.

🛡️ The Role:

• Manage insurance defense litigation from inception through verdict or resolution
• Develop litigation strategy and take meaningful ownership of active files
• Draft and argue dispositive and non-dispositive motions
• Handle pleadings, written discovery and substantive legal research
• Prepare witnesses and work directly with clients, carriers and experts
• Handle hearings, mediations and settlement negotiations
• Serve as first chair at trial when required
• Independently assess exposure, liability and resolution strategy

⚖️ About You:

• 3–8 years of insurance defense litigation experience
• Active California Bar admission
• Trial experience is essential
• Strong legal writing and oral advocacy skills
• The right profile is somebody who wants to be known as a trial lawyer, not simply an attorney who happens to work in litigation

📍 Location: San Francisco Bay Area / Northern California

Hybrid working with an expectation of approximately 2 days per week in the office.

💰 Package:

• Up to $350,000 salary
• Medical coverage; Dental coverage; Vision coverage; 401(k)
• 1,920 billable-hour target
