Coda Search is partnering with a rapidly growing company that has a unique business model for the Financial Technology sector. They have been growing exponentially over the past 10 years. The team is seeking to hire a Head of Corporate Accounting to build out Fixed Assets and all costs associated with. This individual will drive their Implementation and design of internal reporting working with Operations, Technology, and internal consultants.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Global Asset Ownership: Build out and Drive fixed asset accounting framework, capitalization policies, and useful life tracking worldwide.
  • Technical Compliance: Evaluate global infrastructure expenditures for proper ASC 842 (leases) and ASC 360 (impairments) treatment.
  • Financial Close: Direct timely, accurate month-end and quarter-end close cycles for all infrastructure and capital asset portfolios.
  • Data & Allocations: Analyze massive datasets to solve complex cost-allocation challenges and improve data integrity.
  • Strategic Modeling: Partner with Procurement and Financial Reporting to build models that optimize spend and guide capacity planning.
  • Process Automation: Design scalable workflows and robust internal controls to support high-volume transactions during hyper-growth.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Translate engineering and technical infrastructure requirements into clear financial implications.
  • Audit & Reporting: Serve as the main contact for external auditors regarding infrastructure costs, and prepare investment schedules for senior leadership.


Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of accounting experience, with a strong foundation in technical accounting
  • Prior public accounting experience (Big 4 preferred)
  • CPA required
  • Strong Fixed Asset and Leases financial reporting experience
  • Proven ability to improve processes and implement core accounting procedures
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and presentation skills
  • Prior supervisory experience required
