HR Manager [$90-$95K] Manufacturing

We’re looking for an experienced, hands-on HR Manager who wants more than an administrative role. This is an opportunity to partner directly with leadership, support and develop managers, strengthen the employee experience, and help shape HR practices and culture across two locations.

In this role, you’ll serve as a trusted HR partner to both managers and employees, overseeing day-to-day HR operations including:

• Recruiting, onboarding, retention, and workforce planning
• Employee relations and performance management
• Payroll processing and benefits administration
• Safety, training, and policy implementation
• HR compliance and employment records
• Coaching managers and supporting organizational development
• Coordination and integration of temporary workers as business needs require
• Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws

What We’re Looking For

• 3–5 years of progressive HR experience
• 2+ years of payroll processing and benefits administration
• Strong employee relations, recruiting, retention, safety, and training experience
• Working knowledge of employment law and HR compliance, including EEO-1 reporting, Illinois Equal Pay Act reporting, EPRC Certification, wage & hour requirements, FMLA/leave administration, and required employment records
• Experience coaching managers and handling sensitive employee matters with discretion and sound judgment
• Experience developing and implementing practical HR processes, policies, and programs
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Hands-on experience with Paylocity or a similar HR/payroll system
• Manufacturing experience and bilingual Spanish skills strongly preferred

💰 Salary: $90,000–$95,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications
