Position Title: HR Business Partner

Reports To: Sr. Director, Human Resources

FLSA Status: Salary, Exempt

Salary: $100,000-$120,000/year with an annual bonus

Responsibilities:

Strategic Business Partnership

  • Serve as a trusted HR advisor and strategic thought partner to leaders and executives within assigned business units.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the business, including its goals, operational challenges, financial drivers, workforce needs, and organizational priorities.
  • Effectively translate business needs into actionable HR partnership opportunities and collaboratively execute with business leaders globally.
  • Proactively identify workforce opportunities and risks and recommend solutions that support both employees and business performance.
  • Proactively partner with leadership on organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning, and talent strategies and lead them through to execution.
  • Support organizational change initiatives, restructures, and other business transformations through effective change management and communication.
  • Identify business practices and processes that could be improved positively affecting the business results and employee experience.

Talent & Organizational Development

  • Partner with leaders to identify high-potential talent, critical roles, skill gaps, and succession opportunities.
  • Develop and support talent development strategies that strengthen leadership capabilities and employee growth.
  • Identify training and development needs at the organizational, team, and individual levels.
  • Partner with leaders and internal stakeholders to develop and evaluate training programs and measure their effectiveness.
  • Support career development conversations and create pathways for employees to grow within Identiti.
  • Provide guidance on performance management, goal setting, employee development, and succession planning.
  • Coach People Leaders on effective leadership practices, employee development, accountability, and engagement.

Employee Relations & Culture

  • Serve as a trusted resource for employees and leaders while maintaining appropriate confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Lead and/or support complex employee relations matters, including investigations, performance concerns, workplace conflicts, and policy interpretation.
  • Conduct fair, thorough, objective, and well-documented employee investigations.
  • Partner with leadership and legal counsel, when appropriate, to mitigate organizational risk and ensure compliance with applicable employment laws and regulations.
  • Coach leaders through difficult employee conversations and workplace situations.
  • Identify trends impacting engagement, morale, productivity, retention, and employee experience and develop proactive solutions.
  • Help cultivate and strengthen Identiti's People First culture while balancing employee needs with business objectives.

Data, Analytics & Workforce Insights

  • Recommend, create and analyze HR metrics on workforce trends; identifying opportunities, risks, and areas for improvement in support of business deliverables.
  • Utilize data related to turnover, retention, engagement, performance, absenteeism, staffing, compensation, and other workforce indicators to inform business decisions.
  • Develop and communicate actionable insights to business leaders.
  • Measure the effectiveness of HR initiatives and make recommendations based on results.
  • Partner with leadership to establish and track people-related goals and key performance indicators.

Performance & Leadership

  • Provide day-to-day guidance and coaching to People Leaders on performance management, employee development, accountability, and employee relations.
  • Help leaders establish clear expectations, provide meaningful feedback, and address performance concerns effectively.
  • Support performance review and talent management processes.
  • Coach leaders to become stronger, more confident, and more effective people managers.
  • Partner with leaders to identify opportunities to improve team effectiveness, communication, collaboration, and accountability.

HR Operations & Compliance

  • Provide guidance and interpretation of HR policies, procedures, and programs helping elevate our organizational performance through our leaders and our teams.
  • Maintain working knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Partner with HR leadership and legal counsel as appropriate to ensure compliance and minimize organizational, financial and legal risk.
  • Support compensation, benefits, payroll, recruiting, onboarding, and other HR initiatives as needed.
  • Develop offer letters and other employment documentation related to new hires, promotions, transfers, and organizational changes.
  • Partner with HR leadership to continuously improve HR processes, programs, and the overall employee experience.
  • Perform other related duties and strategic initiatives as assigned.

  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS/payroll systems (Workday, UKG, ADP, etc.)


Experience & Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field - preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, in an HR Business Partner capacity.
  • Demonstrated experience partnering directly with People Leaders and executives.
  • Demonstrated experience in employee relations, performance management, talent development, workforce planning, and organizational change.
  • 3+ years demonstrated experience using data to inform leaders and drive improved business results.
  • 3+ years demonstrated experience using data and technology to elevate the HR function and business deliverables.
  • 3+ years demonstrated experience in a complex, transformational organization, strongly preferred
  • 3+ years demonstrated experience leading change management initiatives through transformative periods, strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in mergers and acquisitions and post-close integration, preferred.
  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification preferred.
