Human Resources Coordinator (Bilingual)

Position Overview

The Human Resources Coordinator (Bilingual) plays a critical role in supporting the recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing HR functions within the organization. This position collaborates closely with departmental managers to identify staffing needs, facilitates the onboarding process for new hires, and ensures compliance with employment regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills in both English and Spanish, demonstrate a high level of professionalism, and provide exceptional service to employees and applicants alike.

Key Responsibilities


Facilitate the recruitment process by screening applicants and coordinating interviews for open warehouse and transportation positions in collaboration with departmental managers.

Manage onboarding processes for new and rehire employees, including completing all necessary paperwork, I-9 verification, and WOTC compliance.

Prepare, verify, and maintain I-9 documentation and files in accordance with federal regulations.

Conduct new hire orientation sessions in English and/or Spanish.

Respond to routine inquiries from applicants regarding employment procedures.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and files.

Assist with processing employee terminations and related documentation.

Promote the company’s culture, core values, and policies through effective communication and engagement.

Provide excellent customer service by addressing employee requests and questions promptly.

Support employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, escalating complex or sensitive issues to appropriate HR personnel.

Assist with interpretation of HR policies and respond to basic benefits questions.

Support the annual open enrollment process.

Coordinate and assist with employee-related events and initiatives.

Perform general clerical and administrative duties to support the HR Department as required.


Qualifications

Education


Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.


Experience


Minimum of 2 years of Human Resources experience in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment regulations, including labor laws.

Demonstrated experience with onboarding processes and new hire orientation.

Exceptional time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.

Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-pressure environment.

Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.

Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.

Strong written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear and concise documentation.

Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is essential.

Proven ability to exercise professionalism, demonstrate sound judgment, and operate with a sense of urgency and commitment to quality.
