Outstanding opportunity for a bilingual HR Generalist seeking broad ownership, meaningful visibility, and the chance to shape HR practices across the organization. The position spans hands-on human resources administration, employee support, project management, process improvement, and cross-functional initiatives within an industry leading manufacturer known for its strong leadership team and exceptional culture.
Supporting a union production workforce, the ideal candidate will enjoy working across the full employee lifecycle, contributing to both foundational processes and high-level HR initiatives that strengthen the employee experience, HR systems, and organizational performance.
Responsibilities include:
- Serve as a front-line HR resource for employees and managers, providing practical support with employee relations, policy interpretation, workplace concerns, investigations, performance issues, and day-to-day HR needs.
- Manage core HR operations including payroll, benefits, leave administration, employee records, HRIS data, reporting, and employee services with a focus on accuracy, responsiveness, and compliance.
- Support recruiting, onboarding, performance management, employee development, training, engagement, recognition, wellness, and other workforce programs across the employee lifecycle.
- Support union and labor relations, including contract administration, grievances, employee communications, and interaction with union employees and representatives.
- Lead and contribute to HR technology, digitization, documentation, and process improvement initiatives that strengthen consistency, efficiency, and scalability.
- Develop and maintain job descriptions, HR resources, workforce metrics, and centralized documentation while partnering cross-functionally on projects that support organizational growth and continuous improvement.
Requirements include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, with 3+ years of progressive HR generalist experience.
- Bilingual English/Spanish fluency is required, along with the ability to communicate effectively with employees and leaders across all levels of the organization.
- Broad HR experience spanning payroll, benefits, leave administration, employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, performance management, workplace investigations, and employment compliance.
- Experience with HRIS, payroll, ATS, and related HR technology platforms. ADP experience is a plus. Union or labor relations experience is preferred.
- A hands-on, accountable approach with the ability to move comfortably between detailed administrative responsibilities, employee-facing support, project management, and higher-level initiatives.
- Strong integrity, judgment, organization, communication, problem-solving, and project management skills, with the ability to independently manage competing priorities, maintain confidentiality, adapt to changing business needs, and travel up to 10%.
Compensation:
- Base salary: $90,000 to 110,000, commensurate with experience. Bonus-eligible.
