Position Overview
Our client, a growing consumer appliance brand, is looking for a hands-on Videographer to own content production from concept through final delivery. This role is ideal for someone comfortable wearing multiple hats, who takes pride in their craft, and enjoys being involved in every stage of the creative process.
This is a hybrid role in Newark, NJ (in-office 4 days a week, work from home on Fridays).
Key Responsibilities
- Produce polished product, lifestyle, and campaign videos for digital platforms.
- Lead shoots from concept and planning through filming, editing, and delivery.
- Handle lighting, camera operation, composition, and movement across various setups.
- Own post-production, including editing, color, sound, compositing, and motion graphics.
- Create platform-specific cuts, formats, and variations from each production.
- Manage production assets, equipment, workflows, and file organization.
- Partner with Creative and Marketing to bring concepts from idea to final execution.
- Stay current with emerging production technology, techniques, and AI tools.
Experience & Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in commercial video, cinematography, or branded content, ideally for consumer-focused brands.
- Strong reel showcasing product, lifestyle, lighting, editing, motion, and commercial work.
- Experience shooting both controlled studio environments and on-location productions with talent and crews.
- Advanced knowledge of professional cameras, lenses, lighting, stabilization, grip, and audio.
- Expert-level proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, with working knowledge of Audition, Photoshop, and related post-production tools.
- Skilled in color, compositing, sound, finishing, and end-to-end video production.
- Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-moving creative environment.
- Familiarity with AI creative tools and modern video workflows to improve speed and efficiency.
- Strong understanding of asset management, organization, archiving, and production best practices.
- A relevant bachelor’s degree is a plus, but exceptional work and experience are valued more than formal education.
