SUMMARY
Support a fast-paced production environment by helping keep materials, schedules, and inventory aligned with operational needs. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys coordinating workflow, maintaining accurate records, and helping production teams stay on schedule.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate the movement and availability of materials to support production schedules and priorities.
- Review work orders, production schedules, staffing information, and related documentation to identify material and personnel requirements.
- Monitor materials, products, and work processes for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with established standards and specifications.
- Maintain inventory levels by requesting materials and supplies needed to meet production demands.
- Track and record production activity, including output volumes, raw material usage, and quality-related information.
- Assist with production, work, and shipment scheduling while compiling inventory, cost, and operational reports.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience using computer applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- High attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Ability to review and analyze manufacturing-related costs, including labor and material expenses.
- Working knowledge of shipping and production requirements, standards, and applicable regulations.
