IR Operations Associate - Private Equity

Position Overview

Our client, a multi-billion dollar private equity firm, is seeking an Investor Relations Operations Associate to join their Capital Formation team. This is a high-visibility seat at the center of the firm's fundraising engine, where you will partner closely with senior leadership and engage directly with high-net-worth investors and institutional partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and complete investor records in the firm's CRM, including correspondence, meeting notes, and follow-up items
• Prepare reporting and analytics to support pipeline management and investor oversight
• Coordinate investor engagements, including update calls, meetings, and site visits
• Draft and edit investor communications and correspondence
• Support capital raising initiatives and investor events
• Manage logistics and preparation for internal and external meetings
• Document meeting outcomes and track action items to completion
• Manage a complex, multi-time-zone calendar and prioritize based on strategic importance
• Coordinate domestic and international travel, including detailed itineraries
• Prepare briefing materials, agendas, and presentations for key engagements
• Review and prioritize incoming communications, responding directly where appropriate
• Administer expense reports, reimbursements, and ongoing budget tracking

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in investor relations, fund operations, or financial services
• Recent experience in client services or fundraising support
• Experience using AI tools to automate workflows
• Salesforce or similar CRM expertise
• Bachelor's Degree required
