IT Manager (Microsoft / Active Directory)

Our client is seeking an IT Manager who will lead managed service partners and internal resources supporting Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, endpoint management, workstation lifecycle services, and workplace productivity technologies.

This is a contract-to-hire opportunity that is hybrid to Lake Forest, IL.

Responsibilities:

• Lead Active Directory, Entra ID, IAM, and endpoint management services.
• Manage Intune, SCCM, Autopilot, MFA, Conditional Access, and workstation lifecycle operations.
• Partner with Security teams to strengthen identity and endpoint protection.
• Oversee managed service providers and drive service delivery excellence.
• Lead Digital Workplace modernization and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Mentor technical teams and support enterprise IT operations.

Qualifications:

• 6+ years of enterprise IT infrastructure experience with strong Active Directory and Entra ID expertise.
• Experience with Intune, SCCM, Autopilot, and endpoint management technologies.
• Experience managing vendors, managed service providers, and technical teams.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
