Japanese / English Bilingual IT Specialist - Industrial Machinery Manufacturer (36506)

A global industrial machinery manufacturer in the Elk Grove Village, IL area is seeking a Japanese / English Bilingual IT Specialist.

This role supports SAP, CRM, and other business systems across the U.S. The position works closely with management, employees, and the HQ IT team to resolve issues, improve systems, and support IT projects. Japanese/English Bilingual IT Specialist Responsibilities

• Manage ERP, CRM, and other business applications.
• Provide daily system support and troubleshooting.
• Act as the liaison between business departments and HQ IT.
• Coordinate system improvements, upgrades, integrations, and IT projects.
• Gather and manage business requirements and enhancement requests.
• Support testing, implementation, and system stabilization.
• Manage user access, cybersecurity, compliance, and audits.
• Drive business process improvement, digitalization, automation, and data integration.
• Provide user training and documentation.
• Track and communicate system issues, requests, and project progress.
• Travel may be required depending on projects.

Japanese/English Bilingual IT Specialist Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of IT experience, preferably with ERP/SAP and business applications.
• Experience in a corporate or sales environment is a plus.
• Good knowledge of ERP, CRM, and business systems.
• Experience with system integration, data interfaces, and application support.
• Basic knowledge of IT infrastructure and user support.
• Understanding of cybersecurity and IT compliance.
• Ability to be the main IT contact for business applications.
• Fluent in both Japanese and English, including reading, writing, and communication.
