Marc Realty is a full-service commercial real estate company focused on owning, managing, and leasing well-located office buildings in the Chicago metropolitan area.

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Junior Investment Analyst to join the Investment Group. The Junior Analyst will support alternative investment analysis, financial reporting, accounting, and capital management for an actively expanding portfolio. This role will work closely with senior members of the Investment Group, gaining hands-on exposure to underwriting, capital markets, and investment operations. This is a high-visibility opportunity for someone early in their career to build a strong foundation in real estate and non-real estate investments.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage and organize investment correspondence, including capital calls, distributions, investment updates, capital statements, and financial statements, ensuring partners receive timely and accurate information.

• Facilitate and track capital calls and distributions for partners and internal investment entities.

• Prepare and complete subscription agreements for new investment opportunities.

• Monitor and manage cash for various investment entity bank accounts.

• Support tax preparation for investment entities, coordinating with internal accounting and tax team as needed.

• Build and maintain Excel-based models and files used for investment reporting, cash flow tracking, and financial analysis.

• Assist in underwriting new investment opportunities, including gathering data, running preliminary analysis, and summarizing findings for senior team members.

• Manage investment tracking files, reviewing and updating them regularly to reflect current activity.

• Monitor and reconcile multiple business and personal loans on an ongoing basis.


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced skill in Excel (formulas, formatting, and financial modeling).

• Experience with Argus is preferred, though not required.

• Sharp organizational and analytical skills, with genuine attention to detail and accuracy.

• A proven ability to multi-task, prioritize, and stay organized in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

• Professional communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently with individuals at every level of the organization.

• A self-starter mentality — comfortable taking ownership of tasks and following through independently.


REQUIREMENTS:

• Undergraduate degree required; a background in accounting and/or finance is preferred.

• This position is located our downtown Chicago office.

SALARY: $65,000 to $75,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
