Full job description

Landscape Architect / Project Manager

A highly regarded, design-focused landscape architecture practice is seeking an experienced Landscape Architect / Project Manager to take a leading role within its growing studio.

The practice delivers carefully crafted landscapes across high-end residential, luxury hospitality, urban rooftops and amenity spaces, institutional projects and select commercial work.

The Opportunity

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can confidently manage projects while remaining closely involved in the design process.

You’ll take ownership of projects from early concept through construction, working directly with clients and coordinating consultants, contractors and internal design teams. You’ll also provide guidance to junior designers and help maintain a high standard of design and technical delivery across the studio.

The role will include:

  • Leading complex projects from concept through construction
  • Managing project teams, deliverables and coordination
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Consultant and contractor coordination
  • Design development, grading and technical detailing
  • Construction administration and regular site involvement
  • Mentoring and supporting junior team members

Your Background

We’re looking for someone with 8+ years of landscape architecture experience and a proven ability to lead projects and teams.

Experience across high-end single-family residential, luxury hospitality, urban rooftops, amenity spaces or boutique commercial projects would be particularly relevant.

You should also bring strong technical knowledge, confident client-facing skills and proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite and SketchUp, with Rhino, Lumion or other 3D visualisation experience beneficial.

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture, Architecture or a related discipline is required. Professional licensure and strong planting knowledge are advantageous.

The Practice

You’ll join an established but collaborative studio where senior team members remain closely involved in the work. The emphasis is on design quality, exceptional detailing and delivering projects that translate successfully from concept into built landscapes.

Benefits include 401(k) contributions, medical and dental coverage, paid vacation, performance-related bonuses and continued professional development.
