Job Summary

The Lead Project Manager is responsible for full project ownership as well as leading the PMs through project execution. This entails ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget; completed on time within constraints, whether budgetary or otherwise. This role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving ability, and the ability to manage budgets, schedules, and complex detailing, while interfacing with clients, architects, and consultants to support project execution.


Skyline Windows is a fourth-generation family owned and operated business. We are best known for designing, manufacturing, and installing custom windows, window wall systems, and terrace doors. All our products are made to order based on our clients’ project specifications. From landmarks to new construction, high end residential to high volume commercial, we do it all!


Key Responsibilities:

  • Own PM performance, quality, and outcomes across all projects and teams.
  • Oversee multiple complex projects and ensure alignment with company goals.
  • Leads largest projects and mentors other PM team members.
  • Identify design risks, flaws, and opportunities for innovation.
  • Lead high-level client, architect, and consultant interactions and strategic discussions.
  • Ensure highest level of accuracy and quality.
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation in processes.
  • Review all incoming projects with company executives, sales and engineering prior to internal kickoff.
  • Obtain all requirements, written agreements, job documents, contracts, leveling sheet, architectural, comprehensive scope of work etc. From Sales.
  • Obtain Project Budgeting for different scopes of the project with Salesman
  • Personally, score the project “Risk Level” with Low, Moderate or High risk for PM internal use. This will allow you to allocate resources and who the project will be assigned to for optimum success.
  • Motivate your direct reports in order to expand their knowledge and reach outside of their comfort zone so that a cohesive team is created and their skill sets and abilities are advanced.
  • Review Job Specification review thoroughly and take notes of the highlights necessary, and question anything that may be a risk or that may have been missed previously.
  • Review contract + leveling sheet and compare with JDF provided by Sales in order to know inclusions, exclusions and alternates.
  • Coordinate with company executives on any potential risks for project anchorage, details, materials, data and more that may or may not be in contract or spec but may have been requested by owner, consultant, contractor etc.
  • Constantly improve processes and procedures in order to operate at a level that allows for the ability to foresee and better plan future work and needed resources.
  • Assist in Annual Reviews of PMs.
  • Oversee CO development, tracking, and approvals.


Qualifications & Skills


Education: College degree in a related field (construction management, engineering, etc.) is a plus.

Experience: 5–10 years of relevant experience in façade/window industry (required). Glass and aluminum window experience.

  • Expert-level knowledge of window systems and façade design.
  • Deep understanding of waterproofing, anchorage, and performance.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability.
  • Ability to manage complex projects simultaneously.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to ambulate within the office and off-site locations.
