Lead quality inspector

We are seeking a lead quality inspector to take ownership of quality within a high volume industrial distribution environment, supporting automotive and aerospace customers.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone with experience working with high volume Skews . The ideal candidate is a proactive problem, solver who can identify opportunities challenge existing processes, and drive meaningful improvements.

Responsibilities:

-Lead quality inspection and control activities across the warehouse

-Develop implement and continuously improve SOP's inspection, procedures, and quality processes

-Identify which causes an implement corrective actions to prevent recurring issues.

-Partner with operations and warehouse leadership to improve quality, accuracy, efficiency, and compliance

-Support customer specific quality requirements, particularly within the automotive and aerospace sectors

-Leverage data Jory systems and reporting to identify trends and drive decisions

-Provide guidance and leadership to warehouse personnel on quality standards and processes

Requirements:

-Demonstrated ability to take initiative, things, strategically, and lead process improve improvements

-Experience developing and implementing SOP's and work instructions

-Familiarity ERP systems, Lotus Notes and Microsoft Office

-Strong attention to detail with the ability to balance quality, productivity, and customer requirements

-Experience with an industrial distribution manufacturing or high value warehouse environment preferred but not required
