Commercial Services Learning Experience Facilitator
Location: Greater Chicago Area (Hybrid)
Duration: 6+ Month Contract (Likely Extension)
Rate: $35~/hour
Looking for someone with Hospitality/Hotel Learning/Training experience.
We are seeking a Commercial Services Learning Experience Facilitator to deliver engaging onboarding and training programs for General Managers, Owners, Operators, and other hospitality leaders. This role will facilitate both virtual and in-person learning experiences focused on commercial functions including sales, marketing, revenue management, and events.
The ideal candidate brings a strong hospitality background, including hotel sales leadership experience, combined with a passion for training, facilitation, and learner engagement. This individual will partner with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver learning programs, maintain training content, and drive adoption of commercial best practices across hotel properties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate virtual and in-person training programs for hospitality leaders and stakeholders.
- Deliver onboarding and learning experiences across commercial functions.
- Maintain and update training materials, facilitator guides, and participant resources.
- Partner with subject matter experts to ensure content remains accurate and relevant.
- Support learner communications, program logistics, and training coordination.
- Build strong relationships across departments to support learning initiatives and business objectives.
- Measure training effectiveness and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of hospitality industry experience.
- Hotel sales experience required; Director of Sales experience strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of sales, marketing, revenue management, and events operations.
- Experience facilitating virtual instructor-led training (VILT) and in-person learning programs.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong organizational and project management abilities.
- Must be located in the Greater Chicago area and able to attend occasional in-person sessions.
Preferred:
- Franchise or multi-property experience.
- Learning & Development, onboarding, or leadership training experience.
- Experience with hotel sales, revenue, and property management systems.
- Background working with General Managers, Owners, and executive-level stakeholders.
