Leasing & Contracts Associate | Los Angeles
We are partnering with an incredible and highly visible organization seeking a Leasing & Contracts Associate to join its corporate team in Los Angeles. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a background in contracts, paralegal work, legal support, or commercial leasing who is looking to bring their experience into a dynamic real estate environment.
The Leasing & Contracts Associate will work closely with senior members of the organization and will be involved throughout the lifecycle of commercial agreements, from initial documentation and revisions through execution and ongoing administration. The position will engage with inside and outside counsel and become an integral part of the team with considerable opportunity for future development.
Responsibilities include:
- Review and summarize leases, amendments, contracts, and related documentation
- Assist with drafting, revising, redlining, and coordinating agreements
- Track key contractual terms, deadlines, renewals, options, and other obligations
- Maintain organized and accurate contract and lease records
- Coordinate document execution and follow up on outstanding items
- Partner with internal legal, finance, operations, and real estate teams
- Communicate with outside counsel and other external partners regarding documentation and contract matters
- Prepare reports, schedules, and supporting documentation
- Help improve contract administration and document-management processes
Ideal background:
- 3+ years of experience in contracts, legal support, paralegal work, lease administration, or a related field within real estate
- Experience reviewing and working with contracts or other legal documents
- Commercial real estate or retail leasing experience is highly preferred, but candidates with transferable contracts experience will be considered
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Comfortable managing multiple agreements and deadlines simultaneously
- Strong written communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
